$2000 Business Costs Assistance Program
The latest Victorian Government support package (due to the 5 day snap lockdown) has been announced and applications are now open.
Businesses that qualify will receive $2,000.
It was brought into place to assist small businesses in highly impacted sectors – such as hospitality, food wholesaling, tourism, events and selected retail.
The grant is intended to cover direct costs such as loss of perishable goods, flowers, and booking cancelation fees and charges.
What is the eligibility criteria?
- you need to be a business in the eligible sectors;
- you don’t have to employ people;
- sole traders can apply;
- businesses with maximum annual payroll of up to $3milion.
