Circuit Breaker Business Support Package
The latest Victorian Government support package (due to the circuit breaker lockdown) has been announced and applications are due to open on Thursday 3rd June 2021.
The $460 million package is there to assist small and medium businesses as well as sole traders affected by the restrictions announced on 27th May 2021.
The support package includes:
- Business Costs Assistance Program – Round Two
- Licensed Venue Hospitality Fund 2021
- Victorian Events Support Package
Business Costs Assistance Program Round Two
This $5,000 grant is for eligible employing and non-employing businesses in sectors most impacted by the circuit breaker restrictions. At this stage – this includes restaurants and cafes, event suppliers, accommodation providers and non-essential retailers in metropolitan Melbourne.
Applications open on 03/06/2021 and will remain open for three weeks.
Eligibility criteria is yet to be determined.

Licensed Venue Hospitality Fund 2021
This $7,000 grant is for businesses holding an eligible liquor license and food certificate in metropolitan Melbourne.
Applications open on 03/06/2021 and will remain open for three weeks.
Eligibility criteria is yet to be determined.

Victorian Events Support Package
The $20million package dedicated to supporting operators in the events industry who have incurred losses due to the circuit-breaker restrictions.
We are awaiting more information to be released on the Business Victoria website regarding this package.
