James Hakim, FCPA, Director
You’ll often find him on the sidelines cheering on his kids at weekend sport — and if he’s not there, he’s likely catching up on the latest Liverpool or Doggies games!
Meet James – the accounting wizard who’s been in the biz for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and FCPA qualifications.
James is the go-to guy for all things tax in small businesses. He’s a meticulous mastermind who knows his stuff like the back of his hand. He’s passionate about helping small businesses succeed, and he takes pride in delivering top-notch service and results. Seriously, when we say he cares, we mean he really, really cares!
He’s incredibly proud of the fact that CJM puts clients first and provides a holistic service that prioritizes working together and getting to know you as a person. Now that’s what we call accounting with heart!
A dedicated dad who loves nothing more than cheering his kids on from the sidelines and getting involved in the local sporting communities.
Marina Hakim, CPA, Practice Manager
So good at multitasking that she balances her kids’ activities with time for her favorite shows and a good book!
Marina’s been working her magic in the accounting world since way back in 2000 when she graduated from La Trobe University. She’s managed a ton of clients over the years, and even earned her CPA status in 2003 – impressive stuff!
But Marina’s not just about the numbers – she’s got a sharp eye for details and makes sure ours and clients’ accounting processes are running like well-oiled machines.
And let’s not forget about Marina’s love for professional organization – she’s the reason our team runs so smoothly and our clients’ needs are met with lightning-fast speed.
She enjys listening to podcasts, catching up with friends over coffee, and staing active.
Brent Gloury, CPA, Tax Manager
Can talk (and play) cricket with the best of them. World traveler – with a thirst for adventure and a soft spot for the Richmond Tigers.
Brent joined us and became an integral part of our team in 2016. He is also a member of CPA Australia and obtained his accounting degree at Victoria University.
Brent comes with over 20 years of invaluable public practice experience, in a variety of fields and business areas. This experience provides him with outstanding knowledge in an array of different taxation areas.
He prides himself on a caring yet effective approach with his clients, where he ensures their comfort and understanding of all things tax.
All-around good guy who loves spending time with his wife Alicia and two furry friends, Madeline and Millie.
Leanne Oxnam, Client Services Coordinator

We are lucky to have Leanne as our Client Services Coordinator. She brings such a welcoming energy to the office for our clients who are always met with her infectious smile and warm personality.
Leanne has many years of experience in the corporate field having worked in events management and a variety of administration roles.
She is passionate about providing excellent service and enjoys getting to know and building a rapport with our clients.
An avid gardener who loves spending time with her grandkids and tending to her flower beds with a smile on her face.
Alison Stokes, Accountant
Whether it’s balancing books or chasing trails, Alison knows how to keep everything running smoothly.
Alison’s journey began as a bookkeeper, where her love for numbers was sparked, leading her to earn her accounting degree from Macquarie University in 2007. After some time raising her four kids (and wrangling a spirited ginger cat named Angus), she returned to the workforce as a tax consultant and is now pursuing her CPA while thriving on the supportive, client-focused vibe at CJMA.
Alison adores helping clients make sense of their accounts and treasures the relationships she builds along the way. When she’s not sorting numbers, you’ll find her trail running, sipping coffee, or cheering on her kids at their dance concerts!
Aman Rosha, Accountant
Enthusiastic about numbers and always on the go, supporting his kids in their sporting adventures!
Aman joined us in 2025, bringing with him a broad range of accounting and taxation experience gained across his previous roles. He values the supportive team culture and enjoys working with the diverse mix of clients he assists each day.
He has a genuine passion for tax and accounting, appreciating the clarity and structure it provides — particularly for small businesses. Having been involved in a successful family business himself, he understands firsthand the challenges business owners face and loves helping them feel informed, organised, and in control.
Outside the office, Aman enjoys watching cricket, spending quality time with his wife and two boys, and cheering on the Hawks.
Geraldine Zita, Accountant

Geraldine brings an infectious smile and laughter that brightens up the office. An integral part of our team, she is beloved by everyone for her warm personality and supportive nature.
Geraldine excels in assisting clients with a wide range of tax-related queries and is always ready to lend a helping hand to her teammates, no matter the task.
Outside of work, she enjoys relaxed weekends at home, watching movies and spending quality time with her husband and son.
